Knowledge continuity for your organisation

Keep what your best people know — after they've gone.

Sila interviews your senior staff, turns their answers into procedures a manager approves, and lets anyone in the company ask a question and get an answer that shows its source. In English or Arabic.

The know-how that keeps your organisation running was never written down.

It lives in people's heads

Why Line 2 jams every winter. Which supplier picks up at 2am. A few people know it, and it's written down nowhere.

It leaves when they do

A retirement, a resignation or a transfer takes years of experience out of the building in a single day.

New people ask the same questions

And the people who know the answers spend their days repeating them.

How it works

From someone's head to an answer anyone can find

Step 1

Capture

Sila interviews your senior people in a guided conversation, asking follow-up questions until the steps, the exceptions and the hard-won lessons are all down.

Step 2

Approve

Sila writes the answers up as a clear procedure and sends it to the right manager. Nothing is published until they approve it.

Step 4. Before resetting a filler alarm, wipe the level sensor and check its reading. In humid weather the sensor fogs up, and an alarm reset without this check trips again within ten minutes.

Step 3

Ask

Anyone can ask a question in their own words, any time, and get an answer drawn only from approved procedures — with the source one click away.

English and Arabic

One answer, whichever language they ask in.

Your team can ask in English or in everyday Egyptian Arabic — the way they'd ask a colleague. Both get the same answer, from the same approved procedure.

Asked in English
Can a student move to a different class in the middle of the year?
Yes, with the stage coordinator's approval. A parent signs the transfer form first, and the move takes effect from the start of the following week.
Both answers come from: Mid-year class transfers

Built so you can trust what gets published

Clashes get flagged

When two senior people describe the same step differently, Sila flags it. The manager keeps one version or sends it back to them to settle.

Every sentence has a source

While reviewing, the manager can see which senior person each sentence came from.

Control who sees what

Restricted procedures stay out of search, browse and answers for anyone who isn't allowed to see them.

A map of what every department knows

HR adds the people and names each department's head. Each head lays out their team's knowledge, so it's clear what's covered and what's still missing.

FAQs

Something else on your mind? Ask us in the form below.

Do our senior people need training?

No. The interview happens in the browser, like a chat. Your senior people answer in their own words — in English or Arabic — and Sila asks the follow-up questions, so there's nothing to prepare and no template to fill in. Sila then writes the procedure up from what they said.

Who decides what gets published?

The manager responsible for that topic — or, if no one is assigned, the head of the department. They read the draft, can edit any section, and either approve it or send it back with a note saying what's missing. That note shapes the next interview, so the gap gets filled. Nothing reaches the rest of the company until it's approved.

What if Sila doesn't know the answer?

Sila only answers from procedures your managers have approved — it doesn't guess or fill gaps from the internet. If nothing approved covers the question, it says so and suggests asking the person's direct manager.

Can we keep some procedures private?

Yes. For each procedure you choose who can see it. Restricted procedures don't appear in browse or search, aren't used in anyone else's answers, and can't be opened from a forwarded link by someone who isn't allowed to see them.

What do we need to get started?

A list of your employees — a spreadsheet or PDF is fine — and the name of each department's head. Each head then signs in and maps out their department's knowledge in a short setup interview. From there, senior people are asked to share what they know, topic by topic.
